To say that Donald Trump is a controversial and divisive character is a massive understatement, but most of the ill-feeling toward, and mistrust of the Republican presidential candidate is harboured by grown-ups.
Given how children have a knack for picking out the ‘goodies’ from the ‘baddies’, the world has become captivated by one little girl’s reaction to meeting Trump this week.
A photo of a frightened and uncertain-looking nine-year-old meeting Trump has been turned into a viral internet meme, with many using it as a warning to those planning on voting for the businessman.
Little Amariyanna Copeny, who holds the title of Little Miss Flint, met Trump during his visit to her town, in Michigan, on Thursday.
Far from being excited to meet such a huge celebrity, however, Amariyanna was unable to raise a smile, and actually looked mildly terrified as she reluctantly posed for a photo with Trump.
Now, Twitter is awash with different versions of the photos, with many people using it to urge others not to vote for Trump in the forthcoming presidential election.

“Proof that children can sense evil,” tweeted one woman, sharing a split-photo of Amariyanna’s contrasting reactions meeting Trump and Barack Obama.
“See Little Miss Flint’s face? Kids know when something [or] someone is bad…The fear in her face…It’s not a black/white thing, it’s fact,” tweeted another.
