Is it teething time for your little one?

We all know that dealing with curly hair can be a little tricky – the frizz, the fuss and the sheer size can be overwhelming. However, rather than allowing it become the bane of your life, it’s time to embrace, cherish and celebrate it!

Here are five tips to help manage your hair:

1. Skip the heat

Heat-styling with your straightener or hair dryer can leave your curls looking limp if used excessively.

2. Use a sulphate-free shampoo

Make sure you use a sulphate-free shampoo when you are washing your hair, as the chemical is too harsh on curly hair.

3. Use plenty of conditioner

Curly hair is prone to looking dry and frizzy so make sure you use plenty of moisturising hair conditioner, particularly at the ends.

4. Leave it be

Avoid touching, styling or even brushing your hair too much - the more you handle it the frizzier it will be.

5. Use your diffuser

If your hairdryer comes with a diffuser nozzle make sure you use it. A regular nozzle focuses on one section of the hair while a diffuser will dry your curls evenly.
