When your brother is Matthew McConaughey, you can bet that your every move is watched by the world’s media, so brother Michael ‘Rooster’ can’t be too surprised by his newfound viral status.
The 61-year-old, who also stars on a reality show called West Texas Investors Club, has made headlines this week for naming his son after a beer.
The self-made millionaire, who is known for always having a beer in his hand, has raised eyebrows by naming his son Miller Lyte.
According to reports, the 61-year-old – who earned his own nickname from drinking into the wee hours but still waking up at daylight – has had his brand loyalty repaid handsomely. Sources allege that Rooster has been given “a year’s supply of beer” from Miller Lite!
Confirming the news, Rooster said in an interview: “I named him Miller and his middle name is Lyte. My daughter’s name is Margarita Olympia, but she was named after her great-grandmother. I knew no one would believe that. I suggested Olympia for a middle name – little did anyone know that was the name of a beer.”
