2016 was a dramatic year for Megan Fox. Just months after filing for divorce from husband Brian Austin Green, she found out that she was expecting their third child; and their baby’s birth prompted a reunion for the Hollywood stars.

Now, in a new interview with Cosmopolitan, Megan has opened up about the secret to making her marriage work.

“If you want it to last, you just have to stick it out,” she said, in the publication’s December issue.

“I know my karma isn’t done. And so we’re in it until the universe releases us. We’re not completely in control of it…And he’s a hunk!”

Megan is mum to three sons with Brian, her husband of seven years: five-year-old Noah, three-year-old Bodhi, and one-year-old Journey.

The couple announced their split in August 2015, much to the shock and disappointment of fans all over the world.

The rumour mill went into overdrive months later, however, when Megan stepped out at a red carpet event showing a blossoming baby bump.

The 31-year-old went on to laugh off ‘who’s the daddy?’ stories, and confirmed that Brian was ‘of course’ her third child’s father.

It soon emerged that the couple’s divorce had been ‘put on hold’, and their marriage was fully back on track following Baby Journey’s birth.

Interestingly, when Brian was recently asked about the secret to a happy marriage, he echoed Megan’s sentiments.

“Just stick it out,” he told People, “Like, fighting and making up, believing in each other.”

“I mean, we fight; we disagree on things. But I don’t want to go anywhere, and she’s doesn’t, you know? So, we stick it out.”

It’s a time of change in Hollywood right now, and further down in her Cosmo interview, Megan shared her thoughts on being a sex symbol in 2017.

“I’m not ashamed of sexy poses or parts. Women shouldn’t go out of their way to be dowdy. Being feminine is a very sexy thing,” she admitted.

“But I don’t want to be involved with something genuinely degrading or that encourages negative sexual ideals about women.”
