Mums, we are shaking with excitement! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are inviting some lucky members of the public to the grounds of Windsor Castle to celebrate their big day.

The fortunate 2,640 people will get to see the arrivals of the bride and groom, as well as their wedding guests, to St. George's Chapel. They'll also get to see the newlyweds' carriage procession departing from the castle.

This recent update on the royal wedding noted that the couple want 'members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too and said that 'this wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy'. It sure will be! We love how welcoming the couple are.

If you're hoping to snag an invite to the happy event on May 19, here's the suss: 1,200 people from all over the UK (oops, that's us out) will be nominated by nine regional Lord Lieutenant offices.

They're looking for members of the public from all sorts of backgrounds and ages. According to Kensington Palace's statement, young people who have 'shown strong leadership' and others who have worked to make positive change in their communities will be included.

The guests will also include 200 people from organisations and charities that the couple work closely with and those which that Harry serves as Patron.

And students at The Royal School, Great Park, Windsor and St George's School, Windsor Castle have an even better chance than the rest of us! 100 pupil from the schools will be invited.

Among the 2,640 people will be 610 Windsor Castle community members. Those include 'residents of Windsor Castle and members of the St George's Chapel community'.

The remaining 530 invited to witness part of this happy day will be Members of The Royal Households and Crown Estate.
