Meghan Markle shows off baby bump at her first Royal Variety Performance

This year marks Meghan Markle’s first Royal Variety Performance, and it was quite the evening.

The performance takes place every year in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, of which the Queen is a patron.

The money raised helps entertainers throughout the UK in need of help and assistance as a result of old age, ill-health or hard times.

And while last year the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended, this year Prince Harry and Meghan were the royal guests of honour.

The duchess looked stunning in a floor-length, mermaid-styled skirt with a black-and-white sequin top that showed off her growing baby bump.

She kept her glam look classy and minimalist, with natural makeup, diamond earrings and her iconic updo.

Prince Harry, matching his bride in a classic tuxedo and black bow tie, accompanied her to the London Palladium for the performance.

The two started the evening by standing together and singing God Save the Queen.

Afterwards, a night full of fun and talented performances dazzled the audience.

The evening’s entertainers included Take that, George Ezra, Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo, the cast of Hamilton, and Cirque Du Soleil.

Britain’s Got Talent winner, The Lost Voice Guy, was also on the bill as the night’s comedy entertainment.

Greg Davies, star of Cuckoo and The Inbetweeners, kept the audience laughing throughout the night as host of the charity gala.

After congratulating the royal couple on their baby news, he joked that if Meghan hadn’t nabbed Harry, his nan would have married her royal crush first.

The night was a double celebration, for yesterday was Meghan and Harry's six-month wedding anniversary as well.
