Meghan pays touching tribute to Archie during surprise appearance at Wimbledon

The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at Wimbledon yesterday afternoon. Meghan, who is currently on maternity leave, was there to support her dear friend and tennis royalty Serena Williams.

Fans were surprised to see Meghan at the sporting event as she has kept a low profile since welcoming her son Archie on May 6.

The Duchess has only made a handful of appearances since she gave birth to her and Prince Harry’s first child. Meghan attended Trooping the Colour earlier in the summer and a Yankees and Red Sox baseball game last week.

The former actress took a break from her mum duties to enjoy some quality time with her friends, but she made sure to keep her little boy close to her.

The mum was spotted wearing the sweetest necklace at the event and the meaning behind it is so touching. In a tribute to her son Archie, Meghan donned a dainty gold necklace that featured an ‘A’ pendant.

It is understood that the necklace is by Jennifer Meyer and costs approximately £278.

Fans couldn’t get enough of Meghan’s ‘A’ initial necklace. “She is such a beautiful addition to the world,” one gushed.

Another mum shared: “My husband gave me a necklace when my first born was born.”

One added: “Love the necklace A for Archie It's just perfect.”

We couldn’t agree more. The necklace is the perfect nod to Meghan and Harry’s baby boy. There’s no doubt Meghan is loving every second of motherhood, she looks happier than ever before.
