Milton donate nearly €4K worth of products to children’s charity LauraLynn

We think it’s fair to say that the world could do with a few good-news stories right now, which is why we couldn’t be more delighted to hear about the amazing contribution which was recently made to LauraLynn, Ireland’s only children’s hospice.

As a trusted part of the community, Milton, the world-leading sterilising product range, has reached out to Irish children’s charity LauraLynn, with a practical donation of nearly €4,000 worth of antibacterial surface wipes and sanitisers.

Milton has been protecting us for over 70 years but never more so than in the last two years, during the ongoing global health crisis. Used by hospitals, schools, care facilities and families around the globe, Milton helps to prevent germs spreading and protects against bacteria and viruses including Covid 19.

LauraLynn is Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice. Their mission is to provide a community of care that delivers evidence-based, personalised services to children with palliative care needs, complex care needs and complex disabilities, while also providing family support services and a home to our residents where quality-of-life is paramount.

Speaking about this wonderful contribution, Claire Shiels, Fundraising Executive with LauraLynn Children’s Hospice says; ‘’LauraLynn are hugely grateful to Milton for their generous donation of antibacterial wipes and sprays.  Infection control is extremely important in LauraLynn and never more so than over the last two years during the global pandemic.”

“Having these extra supplies allowed us to keep all those in our care and all our staff safe and protected. Companies such as Milton that donate products we can use, are an incredibly important part of the corporate support that we rely on at LauraLynn, helping to free up resources for us to use in our services,” Ms. Shiels added.

Meanwhile, Milton spokesperson Christine Chevalier commented, “It’s been a tough couple of years and while things are beginning to look up, Covid hasn’t gone away – we still need to be vigilant to protect all in our community. So, we are glad to be able to help this very worthy organisation in the most practical way we can.”
