Amid all of the tragic and frightening reports from around the world this week, a ‘true miracle’ has made headlines and amazed the internet.

A Chinese couple were left flabbergasted when their ‘late’ child woke up ahead of his own scheduled cremation at a morgue in Zhejiang.

According to reports, the baby had been born premature and, after 23 days spent in a hospital incubator, the parents decided to bring him home. The child’s condition swiftly deteriorated however, and medics declared him dead on February 4.

The child’s heart was said to have stopped beating, and the parents were issued with an official death certificate; they then scheduled a cremation.

Incredibly, however, the child woke up ahead of the cremation. As you can imagine, the parents were totally amazed, particularly as the child had spent 15 hours in a temperature of just over 10 degrees Fahrenheit. However, the father had wrapped the baby in two layers of clothing and a thick bag ahead of the scheduled cremation – something which, doctors believe, saved the tot’s life.

Commenting on the amazing story, a local doctor said: “It's the first time I've seen this. It's a true miracle.”

While the parents are naturally overjoyed to have their little one back, doctors are still cautious over his survival chances.
