Celebrating the highly-anticipated arrival of her baby daughter, Bristol Palin has taken to her social media channels to reveal she became a mum for the second time on December 23rd.
The daughter of American politician, Sarah Palin, uploaded an incredibly moving shot of herself and her baby daughter in a post which has garnered considerable attention as members of the public clamour to share their opinion on Bristol's changing family dynamic.
Paying tribute to the little girl on her Instagram page, 25-year-old Bristol wrote: “My sweet Sailor Grace was born yesterday, our family couldn't be more complete.”
Offering members of the public an insight into her family’s reaction to the new arrival, Bristol, who appeared on Dancing With the Stars and Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp uploaded a shot of her eldest child, Tripp, doting over his baby sister.
In an accompanying message which is bound to resonate with any parent, Bristol, who welcomed her first child in 2008, wrote: “My heart just doubled.”
While some members of the public have made reference to Bristol's supposed standpoint on teenage abstinence and pre-marital sex, the reality star has been inundated with messages of congratulations following the announcement.
Deriding individuals who have used the star's announcement as a platform to deride her lifestyle choices, one fan wrote: "Omg haters are deranged. Bristol, stay strong moral and true. You're happy because you don't let judgmental folks who lie change your truth."
It's a shame the arrival of a beautiful little child has ignited such hateful sentiment - We hope Bristol focuses on the positive messages and ignores the negativity.
