How would you compare Mother’s Touch to other thermometers? (Was it easier to use? Did you find it less intrusive?)
The Mothers touch thermometer is so easy to use, all you have to do is slide it on to your finger and hold it against the child’s forehead for 5 or 6 seconds and that’s how simple it is. Any small child can’t sit still for the two minutes you have to wait with the underarm mercury thermometers and with even the digital underarm ones it still takes too long, my boys will wriggle and try to take it out. My boys hate the ear thermometers because they don’t like the fact something is being put inside their ear. There is always a struggle.
How did your child find Mother’s Touch? (Were they less reluctant to use it compared to other thermometers? Did they find it comfortable?)
I had no problems with taking their temperature with a Mothers touch thermometer at all, there was no struggling or wriggling. It was over and done within seconds, so I know they found it comfortable when they let me take their temperature with it.
Was Mother’s Touch accurate in its reading?
Yes it was very accurate and every time i used it, it gave a true reading.
Did Mother’s Touch respond quickly?
It was very quick, it responded in 5 or 6 seconds.
Do you think Mother’s Touch is good value for money verses more invasive thermometers eg Braun ThermoScan Compact Ear Thermometer retailing at €44.99? (Mother’s Touch retails at €17.99 at DocMorris and Unicare pharmacies.)
Yes it absolutely is far better value for money, it is accurate, not at all intrusive, far more comfortable, you get a reading within seconds and best of all there’s no struggle with the child.
Would you use Mother’s Touch again? If not, why not?
Yes I would use it again and again and again. I am so happy with the product for the all of the reasons I stated above.

this is one amazing product i have used many thermometers before, but found this so simple easy and accurate, onto my finger had the baby on my lap and it took seconds no struggling or her getting annoyed as she has terrible sensory issues, was all geared up for a battle but it was the quickest and most accurate thermometer i have ever used..would recommend it to all my friends or other parents with small children, thank god for who ever came up with this, just pure genius.....both of the children have very high medical issues so temp is always taken very regularly...thank you again for a great product

hi all, i was one of the lucky ones chosen to try Mother’s Touch thermometer, i found it to be very accurate and fast, my son is constantly sick and i usualy end up havin to wake him up several times during thye night to take his temp, with Mother’s Touch thermometer i didnt hav to wake him up one as he was sleeping i was takin his temp with ease, i would highly reccomend this device to anybody with children :)

I love this! Its so easy to carry around and you dont need extra bits for it like probe covers etc. so no extra costs. Its a reasonable price and seems to be accurate and consistant in its readings. But what I really love is that you dont have to put it in the ear, mouth or armpit. My son hates it when we take his temp in his ear so this is perfect for him! Thanks!!!!
