Movie star admits she was surprised by her baby's appearance after giving birth

As any mum knows, you can spend hours while pregnant imagining what your new arrival will look like, but it's not often you get it just right.

And it looks like Scarlett Johansson has some experience in that department going by comments she made during a recent interview!

Speaking to W magazine, the star opened up about the arrival of her baby daughter as well as the surprise she felt when she finally met her for the first time.

Chatting about her tot, the actress revealed that she was a little taken aback after she gave birth, saying: "When she came out of me, I was so surprised. I had a very strong picture in my mind of what my baby would look like. And, of course, she is completely different."

Scarlett asserts that she obviously fell in love with her new arrival immediately despite the initial surprise that she didn't look as once imagined, saying: "She's perfect. But not what I'd imagined. Now, of course, I can't picture her any other way."

Scarlett, who welcomed baby daughter Rose into the life she shares with husband Romain Dauriac last September, is keen to shield her little one from public attention, but we're sure she's every bit as perfect as her proud mum says!
