Oh, how we love starting the day off with a wonderful baby announcement!
Massive congratulations are in order for popular actress, Amy Davidson, and her husband, Kacy Lockwood, who have revealed that they will soon be hearing the pitter-patter of tiny feet.
The star, who is best known for her role in hit show 8 Simple Rules, revealed all during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine.
Amy, who turned 36-years-old last month, opened up about the impact the news of the impending arrival has had on the couple, gushing "My husband and I are thrilled to be having our first child!"
Like any parents-to-be, Amy and Kacy admit they're a little apprehensive, saying: "We’re nervous, of course, but the joy of expanding our family and bringing a new life into the world overrides our nerves."
Upon finding out she was expecting, Amy explained that the big reveal had to be put on pause as a result of a technical glitch, laughing: "I couldn’t get ahold of Kacy. He wasn’t answering his phone!"
The star, who took herself on a hike with a friend in order to process the news, admits that once the big moment did finally take place, the pair couldn't have been happier.
"Kacy finally called me back and I blurted it out! I cried. He was over the moon - a moment we will never forget," gushed the star who is currently in her second trimester.
Amy, who has been been eager to keep fit while navigating her nine-month journey, is due on March 19th.
