If her latest comments are anything to go by, it may be no surprise that much-loved and hugely talented singer, Kelly Clarkson, intends to give her daughter, River Rose, a sibling in the not-so-distant future!

Recently commenting on her little girl who turns one-year-old this month, the doting mum lamented how quickly time passes and remarked on how swiftly her baby daughter has grown into a little toddler.

Clearly hoping to spend more time enjoying those especially precious baby years, the 33-year-old performer has revealed that she plans to try for baby number two once she's completed her tour.

Commenting on her lovely news at Capital FM's Summertime Ball, Kelly happily announced: "Yeah, after the tour, I do want another child!"

Kelly, who is also the proud stepmum to her husband Brandon's children from a previous relationship, hopes to give River Rose a sibling as soon as possible, but is aware that work commitments can play a role in these things, saying: "It's hard being a woman and wanting kids and fitting in your career."

Paying tribute to the close relationship shared by her two stepchildren, Kelly says she hopes to recreate that with River Rose and her future brother or sister, explaining; "I want them to be close together because the other two are close together."

Kelly, who tied the knot with talent manager, Brandon, in October 2013, appears to truly relish wholesome family life and certainly sounds like she knows what she wants.

Wishing her all the best with her future plans!
