Whether it’s for six weeks or six years, every mum is different and no one is right or wrong. However, a mother in the US has decided to share exactly how long she will breastfeed her now three-year-old son for, and the fairly unusual reason why.
A vlogger, who goes by the name of Rain Florence, has taken to her website to let the world know exactly why she will nurse her son until he is six – because that’s what Einstein’s mum did.
The mum, who documents her breastfeeding journey in her blog, argues that Einstein was (allegedly) breastfed for at least six years and he was a genius.
Speaking on the video, she explains exactly why she has chosen to do this: “Did you know that Einstein was breastfed for at least six years? I had to do a video because I thought it might inspire others to breastfeed longer and have an easier time of raising their children.
“I am breastfeeding the next Einstein," she explained.
