Anyone who has given birth will know that the process is no walk in the park, but spare a thought for Australian mum Breanna Sykes – she has just welcomed her first child, whom early reports are describing as one of the biggest babies born in the country!

Breanna welcomed son Ziad Kadic on Saturday, via C-section, with the tot weighing in at 13.2 pounds and measuring 57cm.

Doctors at Joondalup Health Campus, where Breanna gave birth, had initially planned a natural birth – until they realised just how big this baby was.

Speaking to Australian Network News, Breanna recalled: “They said he is just not going to fit. If I try and push the baby, he could break my pelvis, so I had to get a Caesarean, unfortunately.”

Everyone’s talking about it; the big, giant baby,” joked Breanna, referring to the excited talk in the hospital.

Various media outlets are now reporting that Ziad is one of the biggest babies born in Australia, with The Advertiser sharing a photo of the tot measuring up beside a sliced pan!

Congratulations to Breana and her family on the arrival of gorgeous Ziad.
