Addyson Gale Cessna was delivered by ceasarean section and weighed in at 13 pounds 12 ounces and measured 25 inches long!
Newborn Addyson is believed to be the biggest baby to have been delivered at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Pennsylvania, arriving as she does, at almost double the average size. Although doctors admit they don't keep official details, they have said the baby girl is the heaviest they can recall, and so sets a new record.
Mum, Michelle said that she did feel a little uncomfortable during her preganancy, but after coming out of the operating theatre she said: 'I can't even describe it. It's just bliss.' Michelle and husband Mark already have twin boys JJ and Ryan, who were also large when they were born, but nobody expected little Addyson to weigh more than 13 pounds, Mark said 'I wasn’t expecting this. I’m just happy that everything’s OK'.
