From having our bumps poked and prodded to being told we are ‘absolutely huge’, us mums put up with a lot during those precious nine months of pregnancy.

Sometimes we would love to just tell people how inconsiderate or insulting their words are, but we simply don’t have the heart or the courage to do so.

One woman who is not afraid to send a powerful message, however, is illustrator Line Severinsen. The mother-of-two has been capturing ‘pregnancy problems’ in the form of funny cartoons since her first pregnancy, and her work is really striking a chord with women all over the world.

With her Instagram following now up to a staggering 72.7K, Line this week spoke of the motivation behind her illustrations.

“I thought to myself that there is no way that no other people felt and looked like I did. So I wanted to create a counterpoint to help people like me to understand that they weren’t alone and that it is ok to feel and act less than perfect sometimes,” she told The Huffington Post.

She admitted that seeing so many other mums relating to her work has been “rewarding”.

So, exactly how many of these brilliant cartoons can you relate to?
