MummyPages hits the red carpet for the Irish premiere of Trainwreck

It is one of the hottest movies of the year, featuring one of Hollywood’s rising stars, and MummyPages was on hand to catch all of the gossip from Trainwreck’s Irish premiere.

 

As actress Amy Schumer and director Judd Apatow descended on Dublin for the big night, MummyPages’ reporter Lisa Kavanagh hit the red carpet at the Savoy Cinema to get in on the action.

 

While actress Vanessa Bayer had plenty to say about working with the hilarious Amy, the acclaimed Judd Apatow opened up about what drove him to direct a movie he had not written for the very first time in his long and glittering career.

With a healthy balance of romance and comedy, Trainwreck follows the exploits of commitment-phobe Amy, who gets hit with a curveball when she meets sports doctor Aaron (played by the fantastic Bill Hader).

 

With an all-star cast also featuring Tilda Swinton and LeBron James, Trainwreck looks set to be the movie of the summer.
