Innocent Trial

I have always known of the Innocent Brand and most of their products, it was a very rare occasion when I was allowed walk past the Smooties range in the local supermarket. All 3 of my children love them and the fact that they have 100% pure fruit and of course never made from concentrate is a real winner for me, its hard enough to get the kids to take their 5 a day but Innocent does it all. When my delivery arrived of the different flavours the kids were sooo excited and although I assumed they would have gone for the Strawberries/blackberries/raspberries as they love this one and always pick it up in the shops but I was wrong they all wanted the purple!!, not sure why, it was their first time to try the Apples and Blackcurrant, yet it was the first box to be emptied and each carton squeezed until dry, so great result. They enjoyed trying the little games on the back of the cartons and when I put the Innocent Tubes into the freezer they loved them, and wanted more!!, I couldn't believe I was cleared out in 4 days of all Smooties, Tubes and Juices, I have to say the Juices were the last to be touched, maybe because we always have some sort of fruit juice in the fridge but although they drank the Apple Juice none of them finished the Orange not sure if the Orange was too strong as each one left them half full. My eldest daughter put one of the smooties in the freezer for about two hours and took it out whilst it was slushy and poured it over her Icecream and devoured it in seconds!!...

The smooties won over all, as they loved all 3 flavours, all were squeezed dry with the next question of Can I have another one?. Fruit Tubes were very handy and easy some I froze and some left in the fridge but equally all swallowed in seconds. I have to say I would buy the smooties and tubes again and have done since I have used all the trial products up, anything for an easy life and the fact that they are healthy for the kids gets my vote every time. I do always try to give my children Healthy snacks but some times they just keep coming back in the lunch boxes but I think come September thats going to change. My Children are aged 3, 4 and 9 and each one loved the Innocent products which is great as usually what one likes the other two don't. Delighted I did this trial as I always wanted to try out the other fruit varieties but didn't want to waste my money on the off chance that the kids wouldn't like them. Guess I don't have to worry about that now. Great Trial and great results all round. Well done Innocent for being true to your brand name.

Kids loved them as did my husband – all the smoothies were out for me as they have banana – some without would be much appreciated!
The apple and orange juices were lovely.
The fruit tubes were brilliant – would love more flavours, especially in different colours! However very tricky to open especially when no scissors available which meant they were fairly useless for popping in the bag for a trip to the playground which was a real pity..
Also I found the smoothie cartons difficult to insert straws and certainly my children would not be able to do themselves so would be rule them out for school – would far prefer the juice packaging.
Combinations of flavours were enjoyed but the strawberry and cherry were the least favourite – weird as they are DD’s favourites – perhaps they are just not meant to be together.

So in all, the flavours were popular but I think the packaging needs to be looked at – if I have problems with it, how are children meant to be able to do on their own in school?
