When Wioletta Komar, a 25 year-old mother of two, was asked to leave a Sports Direct store for breastfeeding her baby, there was uproar among mums.

Now, 70 mums have staged a mass breastfeeding protest at the store in Nottingham City to show their support for the young mum and defend their right to breastfeed their children.

Leah Gibson, who organised the protest, spoke of her delight at the successful day: "We're here today to stand up for breastfeeding women and their right to feed their children in public without being asked to leave places ... The turn-out has been fantastic, probably more than I expected. It's been really peaceful and calm, which is exactly what we wanted."

The mums staged their protest in the store where there was no disruption from staff this time.

It is believed that Wioletta has now received an apology from the store, after contacting them five times since the incident.
