The survey of over 1,600 women examining hair habits and attitudes finds that 40% of women think their hair could be healthier and 29% say they have noticed issues with their hair.
In fact, two thirds (68%) of those questioned say they have experienced hair loss during a stressful period in their life while 30% say hormonal issues and the menopause have caused their hair to thin. Over half (55%) say they are using haircare products to address the issue with a fifth saying they are taking hair supplements to promote hair growth.
