Encouraging the incredibly excited crowd to welcome Meek Mill to the stage during her Pink Print tour, the flamboyant singer shouted: "Make some noise for my baby father!"
Unsurprisingly, the star's introduction caused a Twitter meltdown with ecstatic fans eagerly discussing the possibility that their favourite performer was soon to become a mum.
Using social media as a platform to discuss the on-stage moment at the Niagara Pavilion, fans wrote: "Wait! Did I hear that correct? Nicki Minaj is pregnant?!"
Addressing the online frenzy, the star herself took to Twitter and reposted the particular video.
Casting doubt on the rumours, Nicki accompanied the footage with crying-laughing emojis thereby suggesting the remarks had little grounding in reality.
