Kim Kardashian previously ruled out trying for another child – but that doesn’t mean she and Kanye are not looking into other options to expand their brood.
In the latest clip from Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim is seen discussing surrogacy with her sister, Kourtney.
Expressing her concerns, the mum-of-two said: “Obviously, I do want to have my own baby, but I feel like I truly don’t know if my body can handle it one more time. There’s just a lot of fears I have about surrogacy, and a lot of unanswered questions.”
However, while Kim has many ‘concerns’ about the entering into the process herself – her sister highlighted one very significant advantage.
"You could have a baby for a year, and nobody would have to know...that is a benefit," added Kourtney.
For a woman who has ‘broken the internet’ so many times and is chased by paparazzi every time she pops out for a gelato, we can certainly see the appeal.
Kim has been very open in the past about her tough pregnancies, first suffering from placenta accreta while carrying North.
“My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails…My mom was crying; she had never seen anything like this before,” she wrote, on her official website.
Kim went on to welcome son Saint last December, with the very same complication arising again.
Almost a year on from her son’s birth, however, Kim has expressed her desire to have another child.
We wonder if we’ll be hearing the pitter-patter of tiny feet sometime soon.
