We’ve waved goodbye to far too many doctors throughout the years on Grey's Anatomy, from George to Mark Sloan and from the queen Cristina Yang to the New Zealand doctor that stole our hearts- Nathan Riggs.

We wish we could wave our magic wands and bring back all the departed characters, however, the only woman who holds that power is Shonda Rhimes.

The producer has axed many popular characters from the show, leaving fans furious and heartbroken, however, Shonda may be making her way back into our good books with the latest addition to the cast.

Fans will be thrilled to hear that Kim Raver who plays Teddy Altman will return to the medical drama.

She’s no Cristina Yang, but we cannot wait for Teddy to return to Grey Sloan Memorial.

Kim revealed to TVLine that working on Grey’s is a true joy, “I love working with Shonda Rhimes. I love working with the cast. It's definitely home.”

With Kim set to return to the popular drama series this spring, fans can’t help but wonder if she will rekindle her relationship with her former love interest Owen Hunt.

Kevin McKidd, who plays trauma surgeon Owen, revealed that Teddy’s return is going to be very exciting, especially for hardcore fans of the show.

“I think the fans are going to get a huge kick out of seeing Teddy back in the hospital, and she’s still the badass that she always was and there’s still that connection between Owen and Teddy,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

We cannot wait to see Teddy back on our tv screens!
