From this provider / About this provider: Donegal County Childcare Committee (DCCC) has a strategic aim to support, develop and enhance the quality of early childhood care and education (ECCE) settings in county Donegal. In order to achieve this, the Childcare Development Officers within DCCC support services through a variety of mediums. The support mainly takes the form of visits to the childcare setting, telephone and email support and workshops tailored to suit the individual needs of the childcare service. The initiative uses the quality standards contained within Síolta, The National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education as a means of structuring and recording support to ECCE settings and adopts the practice guidelines outlined in Aistear, The Early Childhood Curriculum Framework.
