We’re total suckers for a good pregnancy announcement and gender reveal, and one TV presenter just did it in style – live on air!
US presenter Dylan Dreyer delighted her co-hosts and viewers alike when she announced, on The Today Show, that she is expecting a baby.
The mum-to-be waited for the ‘Friday Fishbowl’ segment to share her big news, pulling out a piece of paper and reading out, “Are you pregnant?”
While, initially, it seemed like some kind of ‘joke’, an excited Dylan gushed as she exclaimed, “And yes, I am! I’m due in December!”
If this wasn’t enough to excite the Today crew and audience, Dylan went on to reveal the gender of her baby, because her family ‘cannot do surprises at all’.
Recreating the gender reveal she prepared for her husband, Dylan proceeded to pick up a soother with a thumbtack attached to it, and pop a black balloon to release coloured confetti.
So, was the confetti pink or blue? We won’t spoil it for you!
