Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a new addition to the royal family...a new dog!

And we are dying to see what the pooch they have adopted into their home looks like.

Rumours dictate that the newly married couple have chosen a Labrador Retriever as their new four-legged friend.

Meghan was heartbroken when she had to leave behind her beloved Bogart, a Labrador-Shepherd mix, in Canada when she moved to the UK to join her husband.

Reportedly, the new pet is replacing her loss and marks a new step in the couple’s relationship as they care for their new family member together.

The Duchess of Sussex has always been a dog person, and now she has a new sibling for her rescued Beagle named Guy.

The former actress used to constantly fill her Instagram with pictures of her babies, Bogart and Guy.

And now, we hope she gets to brag about her and Harry’s new furry friend as well.

Royal sources have spilled to The Daily Mail about the new pet’s whereabouts:

“The dog is already happily ensconced at their cottage.

"Like the Sussexes, the dog will divide its time between the palace and their country home in the Cotswolds."

Animal lovers everywhere fully support the royal’s adoption decision, and we can only assume that Meghan has rescued another puppy in need.

We can’t wait to see their new pet and are so happy for the Duke and Duchess!
