Prince Harry bought Meghan the most romantic gift when Archie was born

The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at Trooping the Colour last weekend and fans of the new mum noticed she was sporting something special on her ring finger.

Meghan was spotted wearing a third ring along with her engagement ring and wedding band, and sources believe it is a gift from her husband Prince Harry.

The doting mum gave fans a glimpse at the delicate pave-set band as she waved to crowds during a carriage procession.

The couple welcomed their first son, baby Archie, into the world in May and it is believed Harry bought Meghan an eternity ring following the birth of their darling boy.

An eternity ring, also known as an infinity ring, symbolises never-ending love.

It is usually given by a spouse to their wife on a special occasion or an anniversary. Harry and Meghan recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary so the ring may have been a gift to mark that special day too.

The Duke of Sussex proposed to Meghan with a ring that was made of yellow gold as it is Meghan’s favourite. The special ring, designed by Harry himself, also features a stone from Botswana and a trio of smaller diamonds that once belonged to the late Princess Diana.

It’s safe to say Harry is a true romantic.

It was a delight to see the new mum looking so happy at Trooping the Colour this weekend, but Meghan has no further public appearances planned until her maternity leave ends. It is understood that the Duchess of Sussex will take three months off, meaning she will return to her royal duties towards the end of the summer.
