Princess Charlotte is celebrating a VERY special milestone this week

Princess Charlotte has celebrated quite the sweet milestone this week and we’re so excited for her.

The youngster, who has been attending Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington since the beginning of the year, took part in a really special project in school this week.

According to Hello! Charlotte had her first ever nativity play at school. The young royal’s school had their annual Christmas performance this week and we’re sure the princess stole the show.

It is known that Charlotte has developed a love for dance, especially ballet so we’re sure she put her dance skills to the test during the play.

Unfortunately, Kate and William were not able to attend Charlotte’s special show due to a royal engagement. The Duke and Duchess were visiting RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus.

The parents flew to Cyprus for the day to meet serving personnel, families living on the base, wider station personnel and members of the local community.

Kate and William understand just how hard Christmas can be for these families and honoured them during their trip.

William spoke of the incredible work they do for their country in a moving speech: “On behalf of everyone back home, we would like to say thank you. Thank you for your commitment and thank you for your sacrifices. We are in debt and Catherine and I feel very lucky to be able to spend time with you.”

The parents may have missed Charlotte’s nativity play but we couldn’t think of a better reason than carrying out such a special royal engagement.
