Princess Charlotte will use a different name when she is in school

Tomorrow is a big day for Princess Charlotte as the young princess is set to start primary school. Kensington Palace confirmed William and Kate’s daughter will enroll at Thomas’s Battersea, which is the same school as her big brother George.

The parents, who are set to accompany their daughter on her first day, have shared that Charlotte is extremely excited to join her brother George at the London school.

Charlotte’s first day at school will be full of the same nerves and excitement that every other child experiences, but there will be something rather different about her big day.

The princess won’t be addressed by her royal title, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, at school. To ensure that Charlotte has a normal experience in school, her classmates and teachers will call her Charlotte Cambridge, as opposed to using her full title.

George also uses Cambridge as his surname in school.

A source recently told People that the siblings lean on each other a lot, especially because they’re so close in age.

“She can’t wait to be with George at big school. She is so excited about it all,” the source added.

Charlotte will study a variety of subjects at the London school, including ballet, music, French and art.

We cannot wait to see the official photos of Charlotte in her school uniform tomorrow morning. She is going to look as cute as a button.
