Lauren Goodger, who once had a high-profile relationship with newlywed Mark Wright, only recently reunited with former partner, Jake, but if their recent comments are anything to go by the pair have no plans to take things slow.
Opening up about her hopes for the future while speaking to OK! magazine, the 28-year-old former Celebrity Big Brother contestant insisted she has a very specific goal in mind.
Deciding to delay a wedding in order to start a family, Lauren gushed: "I’d love for us to get married one day, but I think we’ll have children first. I’d love to have our kids there on our wedding day."
The star, who got her boyfriend's name tattooed on her wrist, says becoming a mum takes priority over much else, revealing: "I still have a few things I want to achieve in my career but I want to be a young mum so we don’t want to wait too long. I can’t wait to be the mum of Jake’s children."
And it looks like Jake is on the exact same page and insists his main goal is to settle down with Lauren, explaining: "We speak about marriage and kids a lot. For me, getting married and having kids is what life is all about. I can’t wait to start a family together."
Praising each other's approach to parenthood, the pair insist their respective childhoods mean they have similar goals in mind when it comes to their own offspring.
Opening up about their hopes for their future family, the pair said: "We come from very similar backgrounds, we both moved out of home when we were quite young and neither of us is particularly close to our parents so we’re determined for things to be different for our children."
It certainly sounds like we'll be hearing the pitter-patter of tiny feet very soon!
