She scored major brownie points with us in recent times, after speaking out against society’s unrealistic beauty standards, and Renée Zellweger has impressed yet again with her perfect eloquence this week.
The actress is currently on the promotional trail for her new movie, Bridget Jones’ Baby, and has endured a lot of talk about having children.
While some may have been irritated by the question posed by Extra this week, inquiring as to whether or not she was ‘craving’ a baby, the 47-year-old had the perfect response.
“I’ve never really thought like that about anything in my life, really. I’ve always been kind of open to whatever may be, curious to see what’s next. I’ve never been that deliberate about my life and the things that I would require in order to be happy,” Renée responded.
Model Tyra Banks previously broke down in tears on TV while discussing how intrusive media questions hurt her during her personal fertility struggle.
Speaking on her show FABLife, the star – who went on to welcome a son via surrogate – said: “You have no idea what people are going through…Whether they want to have a child or don’t ever want to have a child or may have a child on the way, it’s none of your business.”
While it's important to ask the 'hard' questions, sometimes human sensitivity needs to prevail.
