A child's 13th birthday is a very special milestone in their life and something which most parents want to celebrate accordingly.
Owing to this, it's perhaps no surprise doting dad-of-four, David Beckham, decided to pull out all the stops for his second eldest son who turned thirteen last week.
Giving Romeo the opportunity to lead the England team onto the pitch ahead of their highly-anticipated game against Switzerland, Victoria's husband certainly made his son's passage into his teenage years one to remember!
Looking incredibly like his world-famous father, Romeo made his way across the pitch, proudly sporting the Three Lions strip which his father wore on countless occasions as the England captain.
Commenting on his son's appearance at Wembly, a clearly delighted told ITV: "Romeo is obviously very lucky as part of his 13th birthday – because of a few connections still at the FA – is one of the mascots, so he is excited."
With a very proud father and two supportive (and envious brothers) supporting him from the stands last night, we're sure Romeo managed to ignore any nerves he may have had about his big moment.
Paying tribute to her son on his special day last week, fashion designer, Victoria, shared a photo of Romeo, writing: "Happy birthday baby boy. We r all so proud and love you so, so much." (sic)
What a way to mark your 13th birthday!
