Today we'd like to wish a very happy birthday to Princess Charlotte, who's turning three!

She may still be a tot, but the fourth-in-line to the throne has already developed a sweet sense of style in her three glorious years on Earth.

From her full skirts to those dainty collars and pretty patterns, we can't help but 'awww' every time we see a pic of the little Princess. As well, she's quite the trendsetter when it comes to kids' fashion, with items she wears instantly being sought after by parents (also known as the 'Charlotte effect').

In honour of the young Taurus, here are nine of her most iconic fashion moments:

1) That time she taught us florals are always in.

What better to accessorise a floral print with than ACTUAL flowers?

2) When Charlotte went to nursery school and showed us that pink and red CAN go together.

Back-to-school fashion has never been chicer.

3) That time the Princess made a fuzzy friend.

Nothing completes an outfit like a gorgeous smile!

4) When she rocked a christening gown.

Being baptised into the next generation of trendsetters.

5) That time she was pretty in pink.

Sorry, Kate, you've been upstaged (yes, even a hat like that can't compete with Charlotte's adorableness).

6) And then when Charlotte rocked the blue.

She is the QUEEN of cardigans!

7) That time she brought the rhythm.

Marching to the beat of her own stylish drum.

8) That lovely yellow sweater from just before her second birthday.

And in case you forgot - that jumper cost only €12! It sold out from high street retailer John Lewis shortly after this photo was released last year.

9) When the Princess taught us the best accessory is a cheeky wave.

Step aside Prince George - there's a new fashion icon in the palace.

Once again, happy third birthday to Princess Charlotte!
