Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s official wedding photos were taken by photographer Alexi Lubromirski.

Not only had he the honour of capturing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on camera, but he also had the chance to photograph Prince William, Queen Elizabeth and the adorable flower girls and page boys too.

We all know just how tricky taking family photos can be. There’s always one member who sneezes just as the shot is taken and one child who keeps running around, and that stubborn teenager who always refuses to smile.

The photographer had his work cut out for him with an army of mini-royals to photograph. We’re sure Prince George, Prince Charlotte, and co. were feeling quite tired after the wedding ceremony, so the last thing they wanted to do is pose for the official photos.

Luckily, the children’s nanny stepped in with some words of wisdom. She informed the photographer that the youngsters would behave themselves if they were given some sweet treats.

According to The Telegraph, Maria Borrallo informed Mr Lubromirski about the power of Smarties.

The photographer told Reuters: “They were being bribed with one Smartie here, one Smartie there. As soon as the kids came onto the set, I immediately just shouted out 'Who likes Smarties?' and then everybody, hands up, smiles, even some adults put their hands up."

The tip certainly worked and Alexi produced some of the most beautiful photos of the family. However, the black and white photo of Harry and Meghan is our personal favourite.

The natural shot captures their genuine personalities and true love. It’s simply breathtaking. Speaking of that striking photo, the photographer revealed that it was actually a candid snap.

“I said just before you go in, let's sit down on these stairs, and she just slumped in between his legs. They were just laughing because they were joking about how they were exhausted and finally it was over."

Alexi Lubromirski certainly captured the most perfect photos of Harry and Meghan’s big day that they’ll happily look back on in the future.
