Kate and William welcomed their third child into the world on Monday, April 23. The doting parents have been showered with loving messages since the arrival of their son.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have not yet released their baby boy’s name yet, but the public has been busy betting on what the prince’s name will be.

Arthur is the favourite with odds of 9/4 at Paddy Power, followed by James at 3/1 and Albert at 6/1. Philip, Alexander and Louis are also proving popular with the public.

Prince William was attending a NZAC Day service to honour Zealand and Australia's war dead this morning.

The dad-of-three spoke to members of the public before the service and shared an update on how his darling boy was doing.

“Sleeping's going reasonably well so far, so he's behaving himself which is good news,” he said.

The Duke of Cambridge also revealed that they have chosen a ‘strong name’ for their baby boy.

It is understood that Kate and William will release their son’s name later this week.

According to the BBC’s royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, tradition still plays a part when naming a royal baby.

"When you choose a name for a royal baby there's the personal [preference]; there's the link with the royals past and present, but also you think about the public," he shared.

We cannot wait to find out what name Kate and Will chose for their baby boy.
