A massive congratulations are in order this morning after it has been revealed that Voice of Ireland contestant, Helena Bradley Bates, became a mum for the fifth time yesterday afternoon!

Just hours after performing on RTÉ's hugely popular talent show, the Wexford mum gave birth to a healthy little boy at Wexford General Hospital.

Although not due until May, Helena welcomed baby Ewan Bradley Bates into the life she shares with her partner Neil and four children, Dean, Ayla, Callum and Ordhran this week,

Helena, who was on former Westlife member Kian Egan's team, had everyone on high alert during Sunday's show and a team of paramedics was waiting backstage should the talented mum go into early labour.

We're sure the disappointment of missing out on a place in next week's final will be of no consequence to the gorgeous 41-year-old singer after finally laying eyes on her healthy, 7lb 12 oz baby boy.

Congratulations Helena- we can't wait for a sneak peek of little Ewan!
