The Duchess of Cambridge helped spread Christmas cheer today during her visit to the Rugby Portobello Trust in North Kensington.

The Trust supports local children and parents through programmes such as homework clubs, sporting activities, social groups, and tuition. They have been an important support to the community especially after the Grenfell Tower fire six months ago, in which 71 people sadly lost their lives.

Kate Middleton lent a hand by giving out presents at the Christmas party for the Trust's 'Magic Mums' group.

The expecting mum also met the young people who participate in the Trust's music workshop. She learned how the Trust works to aid the local community, especially in the wake of such tragedy.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have done their part to support the survivors of the fire as well, working with Prince Harry to provide mental health resources for the community.

During her visit to the Trust, Her Royal Highness helped set up for the children's Christmas party. Kate put out Christmas crackers and chatted with the kids - and looked AMAZING while doing so. We love that chic maternity wear she is rocking!

Later on, Kate gave the Trust an award acknowledging all of their hard work. She congratulated the hardworking staff at the Trust, saying, "Well done, to each and every one of you."

It's been a very busy day for the Duchess. She visited the set of Blue Peter with her husband earlier today, and the pair were awarded a Gold Blue Peter Badge, the programme's highest award, for their work in children's mental health.

The Queen was awarded the same badge fifteen years ago during her Golden Jubilee year, and Will said cheerfully this morning, "We'll compare!"

Well done to Kate and Will, and congratulations to the Rugby Portobello Trust! Local community support is vital, especially near the holidays.
