Bonding before birth - Most new mothers in Ireland only have a limited amount of ultrasound scans during their pregnancy, usually from around 12 weeks of their pregnancy and again at around 20 weeks for a detailed anomaly scan, for the remaining time of your pregnancy, you’ll be in the dark about how your baby’s doing unless there’s a medical reason for doctors to check.

Early Pregnancy Scans - one of our most popular private baby scan services, our early pregnancy scans allow you to see your baby from as early as 8 weeks. These scans can reassure you that your pregnancy is viable by measuring the heartbeat and we will also be able to determine the number of gestational sacs as well as give you an accurate due date so you can start planning for your new arrival.

 

Late Reassurance Scans - We know pregnancy is an anxious time for most mothers, especially first-time mums! From 14 weeks on, our late reassurance private baby scans will reassure you that your baby is developing as normal. You’ll be able to see your baby, identify key measurements for growth and take home pictures as well as hear their heartbeat.

 

Gender Scans - Choosing to get a private baby scan means you can learn the gender of your baby from 17 weeks. At your gender determination scan, our sonographer can tell you the gender immediately at your appointment or we can keep it a secret and provide you with our gender cannon or our gender reveal balloon package so that when you leave Ultrascan you are ready for your big reveal.

 

3D/4D Pregnancy Scans - From 24 weeks to 33 weeks, you can come in for one of our exciting 3d/4d pregnancy scans. These exciting private pregnancy scans allow you to see your baby in as much detail as possible before you meet them face to face. You’ll be able to see the shape of their nose, mouth, and possibly see them smiling, waving, or sucking their thumb. We ideally recommend 28/29 weeks gestation as the perfect time to book this scan.

 

All our scans come with 2 professional prints of your baby to take home with you as well as 5 black & white ultrasound machine photos. You can sit down and choose your favourite images with our custom touchscreens, so you’ll take home the pictures you love. You can also capture your baby’s heartbeat from 14 weeks with one of our plush heartbeat teddies, so you can keep the memory of hearing your baby’s heartbeat for the first time forever.
