Well, we have the best news ever – the next instalment of the hit show is just around the corner!

That’s right, Netflix is about to release the second series of The Crown, and we have the teaser trailer to prove it.

A dramatic retelling of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign, season two will kick off during an illegal war in Egypt involving Her Majesty’s soldiers, and will cover the downfall of Prime Minister Harold Macmillan after a devastating scandal.

Judging from the official trailer, this season is loaded with glamour, style and plenty of drama – we are ready!

Season two will land on Netflix on Friday, December 8, so clear your schedules and have the wine chilling.

Based on the award-winning play The Audience, The Crown has built a massive following around the world since it launched this time last year.

Led by a stellar cast including Claire Foy, Matt Smith and John Lithgow, the show swept the board during awards season earlier this year.

Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you’re most looking forward to this season.
