Actress Anna Faris is said to be doing well, following her sad split from husband Chris Pratt.

According to her Mom co-star Allison Janney, The House Bunny actress is “a trooper”.

Allison told E! News: “She comes to work with a smile on her face. She’s a professional."

"I love her to death," she continued. "Her private life, she keeps pretty much to herself. She comes to work and gets the job done. She’s got a big smile on her face, and she’s getting through it.”

Anna and Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris recently announced they were separating following eight years of marriage.

Chris posted a statement on Facebook to confirm the news to the couple’s fans.

“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating,” wrote the star, who has a five-year-old son, Jack, with Anna.

“We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.

“Our son has two parents who love him very much, and for his sake, we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward.

“We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together, and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”

40-year-old Anna recently opened up about her feelings in her podcast, Anna Faris is Unqualified.

She thanked fans for their support and hinted that she hadn’t been happy in her relationship for some time.

She said: “Hey, dear listeners: I just want to thank you all so much for all the love I’ve been receiving, and I truly love you.

"Life is too short to be in relationships where you feel this isn’t fully right or somebody doesn’t have your back, or somebody doesn’t fully value you,” she said.

“Don’t be afraid to feel your independence if things aren’t right.”

Earlier this year, the couple were rocked by infidelity rumors, with some tabloids claiming that Chris had an affair with actress Jennifer Lawrence.

Touching on the subject in her podcast, the 40-year-old admitted: “I just remember feeling so hurt in a way that bothered me, because I didn’t want to think of myself as somebody who could be bothered by tabloid s**t.”

We wish Anna all the best for the future.
