According to reports emerging from the States, the Forever singer was at a nightclub at the time of the incident, but unfortunately his aunt was present during the terrifying break-in.
It is understood that the assailants gathered a significant sum of cash and a number of personal items before fleeing the property in the Los Angeles area of Tarzana.
Commenting on the incident, LAPD lt. Kirk Kelley said: "We're trying to see if there's any video evidence that might have picked up the suspects."
The singer's aunt managed to free herself before alerting the authorities and thankfully was not harmed during the horrifying event.
Unfortunately for the star, who is father to a baby girl named Royalty, this is the second such occurrence in recent months.
According to officials, the 26-year-old star suffered a similar invasion in May when a woman broke into the property, bizarrely cooked a number of meals and scrawled 'I love you' on the walls.
It has not yet been established whether the star's home was specifically targeted or whether it was selected at random.
