It was easily the best one of recent years, and last night's Late Late Toy Show appears to have charmed the nation.
We laughed, we cried and, most of all, we marvelled at the sheer talent on show from these young performers and toy-testers.
It was tough to whittle it down, but here are our top 10 moments from the night.
1. That opening number
As soon as we heard that The Jungle Book was the theme of the night, we hoped 'I Wanna Be Like You' would form part of the repertoire - and we were not disappointed. From the cheeky dancing monkeys to the crowd snake and Ryan Turbridy's 'Baloo' outfit; it was the perfect way to kick off the show.
2. Sauasage-flavoured ice cream
As the first toy-tester on, Bebhinn carried a big responsibility on her shoulders - and she well and truly rose to the occasion. From sausage-flavoured ice cream to her adorable cuddle with Ryan, we were absolutely charmed.
3. Anna vs Dermot
We were pretty much floored by young Anna's talent for architecture, and she could certainly give expert Dermot Bannon - the first celebrity of the night - a run for his money!
What a fantastic night, thanks to everyone @rte #LateLateToyShow pic.twitter.com/022vv77Qeb

4. Aaron's standing ovation
We were all floored when young Aaron Ryan took to the stage and gave Michael Bublé and Sam Smith a run for their money. He received a standing ovation from the audience - and so richly deserved.

5. Darragh and the tractor crew
The tractor segment is always a favourite of ours, and Darragh was a wonderful man to take the helm. He kicked off that fabulous country medley in pure style!
6. The book nook
We couldn't pick just one moment here - we loved every second of this. From the presidential wigs to the Tipperary rap and the wonderful surprise gifts, our hearts were warmed.

7. Charlie meets his hero
If you want to know what it looks like to be starstruck, watch the footage of Charlie being surprised with a visit from his hero, Rory McIlroy. A gorgeous moment.

8. Evan's surprise
Rory wasn't the only sporting hero to make an appearance - lovely little Evan was only delighted to be surprised with a visit from Irish rugby star Jamie Heaslip. Watching dreams coming true is one of the reasons why we love the Toy Show so very much.
I'm gonna wear it everyday promise @jamieheaslip! #LateLateShow pic.twitter.com/J6wPljlTf3

9. Ryan's poignant message
Amid the laughter and excitement, Ryan took a moment to acknowledge one of the more difficult aspects of modern life in Ireland: homelessness. In a poignant message, Ryan assured kids watching in hotels and B&Bs that, no matter what, Santa Claus would find them on Christmas Eve.
2016 and Ryan Tubridy has to reassure the homeless kids that santa will find them on xmas day #Sad #LateLateShow

10. The silly string scientists
Those scientists had us in knots from the word 'go', and their silly string attack on Ryan provided the perfect ending to a wonderful show.
Christmas has officially begun!
