They delighted fans and followers earlier this week when they revealed that they had welcomed their first child together, and after much speculation, US singer Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal have finally shared the first updates on their newborn son.
The couple, who exchanged vows back in February, today revealed that they have named their little one Schaffer Chimere Smith Jr., in two gorgeous posts on Instagram.
New mum Crystal posted the first shot of herself and her beautiful baby boy, admitting that she is already head-over-heels in love.
“Allow me to introduce to you all, Schaffer Chimere Smith Jr!...Now I know what it means to have your heart walk around outside of your body,” she wrote, thanking her new husband for giving her ‘the greatest gift in the world’.
Ne-Yo, meanwhile – who is already father to five-year-old Madilyn and four-year-old Mason – shared a photo of himself cuddling his newborn.
“Gonna do everything in my power to make sure ALL my children never need for anything, EVER,” he wrote, before thanking his ‘lovely’ wife.
