Singer Mariah Carey will apparently be crossing over into children’s literature with the release of a picture book based on her hit song, All I Want for Christmas is You.
Carey’s book, which according to People is due for release in the States in November of this year, follows the story of a young girl who wants a puppy.
Talking about turning her hit song into a book, the mum-of-two said: "When I wrote 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' it was my dream for it to become a classic Christmas song. I am so proud of the song's impact as it continues to create memories for fans each year. I'm thrilled to be able to bring the story of the song to new generations of families with the picture book."
The We Belong Together hitmaker has two children – Moroccan and Monroe – with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon, so we’re sure she is well versed on what makes a perfect story for kids.
