Check out our top tips for visiting Disneyland Paris. Find out how to avoid queues, get the best photos and discover the best times to eat, along with lots of other handy tips.

Visiting with the park
  • If you’re not sure what rides are suitable for your kids, look at the list of symbols beside each attraction. These will indicate restrictions, keeping your little ones safe.
  • You both want to go on a ride but the kids are too young? Take turns without waiting in line a second time with Baby Switch.

Hungry?
  • The restaurants tend to be full to capacity at lunch and dinner times so if you want to avoid queues, make a reservation. You can contact the Dining Service Team on +33 1 60 30 40 50 or you can make a reservation at your hotel reception.
  • Beat the crowds and enjoy faster service by avoiding peak dining hours. Have lunch before noon or after 2.30 pm, and enjoy dinner before 8 pm.
  • Save time and simplify payment. Purchase meal vouchers as you book your hotel.
  • Disneyland Resort Paris is happy to cater for special dietary needs. All Disney restaurants serve vegetarian dishes. For kosher meals, salt-free diets and guests with food allergies, inform the restaurant in advance.

Expectant mothers
  • Need to rest your feet? Hop onto the free Disneyland Resort Paris shuttle service to the Disney Parks or hotels.
  • For your safety and comfort, certain rides are not suitable for expectant mothers. Make sure to look at the list of symbols indicating restrictions or limitation beside each attraction.

Baby services
  • Need to change a nappy or feed your little one? Look for the Baby Care Centre in either Park.
  • Low on baby supplies? Nappies and baby food can be purchased in the Parks' Baby Care Centres and at the Disney Hotels shops.

Shopping
  • Make sure you get to the shops early to beat the crowds. The closer it gets to closing time, the more crowded the shops are.
  • Leave the bags behind and shop hands-free by using Disney's free shopping service. Just pick up your bags at the end of the day – how handy is that?!

Meeting places
  • The Parks all have meeting points in case you get separated – great idea!

Little ones tired?
  • Does the little one need a break from walking? You can rent a pushchair in either Disney Park.

Taking Photos
  • For the best photos, look out for “Point Photo” signs. If you want a picture with all your family together, ask a cast member to take it. There are also professional photographers across the Park.
  • The two most photographed events in Disneyland Park are the Mainstreet Electrical Light Parade and the fireworks display. To get the best pictures of these two occasions, switch off the flash on your camera and prolong the time of exposure.

Avoiding queues
  • Avoid the longest queues by visiting the major attractions at around noon, late in the evenings or during the parades. The parks are less crowded on weekdays rather than weekends.
  • Get a FastPass ticket to reduce your waiting time. This is a free service available to all guests, which allows you to reserve a ride-time for FastPass enabled attractions in advance, and then skip the queue. With FastPass your waiting time is usually reduced to around five or ten minutes. Get your FastPass ticket from machines found in front of the FastPass enabled attraction. You cannot choose the ride-time though – the computer system chooses the time for you. The system will choose the nearest available time-window.

Currency-Exchange
  • Currency can be exchanged at different locations across the park as well at the hotel receptions. Avoid changing small amounts of money, as the exchange fee is not depending on the amount exchanged. It can actually be cheaper to use your credit card.

Foreign Languages
  • If you don’t speak French, don’t worry. Nearly every cast member will speak English. A golden tag beside their name tag will tell you which languages they speak. Most of the attractions do not need language and if so, they are mostly bi – or multi-lingual.
