Having recently revealed that he's expecting twins with his wife of three years, this world-famous music star has gone one further during a recent social media post and revealed the gender of this unborn children!
Taking to Twitter to shed light on recent media speculation, Rolling Stones guitarist, Ronnie Wood, cleared up some confusion before announcing that he's due to become a dad to twin girls in June of this year.
With the couple enduring considerable press attention on account of Ronnie's age, the 68-year-old musician responded to reports that his wife has been 'sent home' from the band's world tour, writing: "My wife @sallywood has not been 'sent home' from the @rollingstones tour!"
Outlining the reasons for Sally's decision, Ronnie, who recently became grandfather to Jesse Wood and Fearne Cotton's newest arrival, continued: "Our twins come first and we decided the Zika virus and excessive flying was too dangerous for them. "
Supporting the star's decision, loyal fans were then treated to a rather big reveal, with the much-loved rocker sharing a touching drawing of his wife with their impending arrivals in a post which was accompanied by a very important message.
"Our baby GIRLS are growing beautifully ~ thank you for the love! (my drawing)," wrote Ronnie in a post which has been inundated with messages of congratulations since its upload last night, with one Twitter user gushing: "THANK YOU for sharing the great news re: "girls"! Can't wait to see some little Ronnettes running around."
However, while most fans seemed thrilled by star's candour, a small minority yet again felt compelled to comment on the topic of Ronnie's age, with one of his followers, writing: "Good luck Ronnie, don't envy you though running around after teenagers when you're in your 80s, good luck to you both x."
