We've all had those days where it feels like the world is crumbling beneath us; screaming toddlers, a chaotic house and chores up to our ears. It's happened to every parent.
Stacey Solomon has shared her own moment with her followers, hilariously conveying how she simply "gave up" and allowed gaming to take over parenting for a little while.
We don't blame her. The reality TV star and presenter uploaded an image to her Instagram of her two young sons playing Minecraft and Fortnite games on two separate screens, while she watched Friends beside them:
She captioned the family snap;
"Totally given up on parenting and it’s only Monday. So much for no games during the week and one at a time play (because there’s no way on this earth I’m moving the TVs into the front room)."
She continued; "I just don’t have it in me today to argue back. Feeling like I’ve been stripped of every ounce of energy for no reason at all today and Fortnight, Minecraft and Friends seem to be the only answer."
"On the upside the boys have never been so happy, they can’t believe their luck," she joked.
Her parenting woes must have been relatable, as her fans have been singing her praises ever since, applauding her down-to-earth attitude and honesty.
Her two sons, 10-year-old Zachary and six-year-old Leighton enjoyed their mid-week treat on fluffy grey bean bags while the Loose Women star relaxed alongside them.
The 29-year-old shared with her 2.1 million followers that sometimes, even she can't resist relenting her parenting rules. It happens to the best of us, Stacey.
In other news, Stacey has recently stoked rumours that she's engaged to her boyfriend Joe Swash.
She has been dating the former EastEnders star since 2016, and their latest Valentine's Day post has our hearts melting. Joe shared a snap of Stacey having bed-and-breakfast to Instagram, writing:
"Happy Valentines day to the most amazing.beautiful, kind, loving.and sexy girlfriend in the world."
The star is known to have a wonderful relationship with Stacey's young boys; we think they'd make the perfect family.
