They welcomed their second child, a son, back at the beginning of April, and if their latest comments are anything to go by, this Hollywood couple went to pretty extreme lengths to find the perfect name for their little one.

Actors Rachel Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies have opened up this week about how they decided on the name Theodore Vigo Sullivan Gillies – and trust us when we say it is far more complex than you could ever imagine.

The Originals star Daniel told People that the couple referred to their son as ‘sweetheart’ and ‘raisin’ while they put together a list of about 700 names from which to gather his real moniker.

After drawing out a Venn Diagram to see which of their preferred names overlapped, they realised that two names would not be enough!

“In the end, he got both names: Theodore, Vigo, and my wife liked Sullivan. He was born on the fourth of the fourth, and I said, ‘Let’s give him four names. Four seems to be his number,” said the star.

She’s All That star Rachel and Daniel are also parents to a daughter, Charlotte Easton, and it apparently took a full week for the doting parents to decide on that name.

Can anyone out there top this couple’s elaborate naming method?!
